Winter Camps 2022 - 2023
DYS Multi-Sport Strength and DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Unique program for all Athletes - Includes instruction in strength and core development, movement training, linear and lateral speed techniques, foot speed and agility, core development and conditioning. Athletes are closely supervised as the coach takes them through an intense 60-minute workout with attention always being paid to proper technique and safety!

Done properly, strength training can: Increase your child's muscle strength and endurance. Help protect your child's muscles and joints from sports-related injuries. Help improve your child's performance in nearly any sport, from dancing and figure skating to football and soccer.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS ABOUT PROGRAM
SPEED - Acceleration, Deceleration, Linear Movement Techniques, Running Mechanics, Footwork!
EXPLOSIVE POWER - Plyometrics, Jumping & Landing Techniques!
MULTIDIRECTIONAL SPEED - Lateral Movement, Change of Direction and Pro Shuttle Mechanics!
STRENGTH – Core Development limited weightlifting (dumbbells), Pushups pull-ups
Program Details:
5 weeks x 1 days per week for 60-minute workout at EMPIRE FITNESS 42995 Eastern Kingbird Plaza, Ashburn, VA 20147.
Session 1 is January 7, 2023 to Feb 4, 2023! Has two time slots - 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM
Session 2 is February 11, 2023 to Mar 11, 2023 Has two time slots - 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM
Cost: $130! Space is limited to 16 participants per time slot - Total of 4 time slots.
DROP-IN RATE is $30 per hour period
Grades 5-8
5 WEEK PROGRAM WILL BE 2 Periods AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY @ 10:30AM - 11:30AM, 11:30AM - 12:30PM. Start Date is January 7th and February 11th
