DSYS Football Registration Information
- Registration is open to all kids living in Southern Loudoun County between the ages of 7 and 16 as of October 1st, 2010. Placement of a player on a team will be determined by BOTH age and weight as defined by Fairfax County Youth Football League, FCYFL Rules.
- The Football Program Guide under the documents section of the website will detail the policies and procedures of the program. This guide also contains the age/weight matrix used to determine eligibility and weight class placement. (doc needs a date update. If it says 2009 make it 2010)
- Online registration begins on April 1, 2010. Our system will accept Master Card and Visa for payment and please be accruate with your child's weight.
We will only accept online registrations and all fees MUST be paid by credit card at the time of registration. Any unpaid registrations will be deleted when you leave the website. Email
if you have issues or concerns about this policy.
- Please pay attention to any emails you might receive from the registrar or commissioner after registering. This will be our means of communcation if there are any issues.
Note that NO equipment will be issued if there is a balance showing on your DSYS account, you owe for unreturned equipment or are required to pay a deposit for equipment due to late turn of equipment for the previous season. This policy applies across ALL sports.

If the equipment is lost or not returned, a $350.00 equipment fee will be charged.
- For weigh-ins in August the kids MUST have an official DMV Walker ID, this is because the other ID’s do not have addresses. For DSYS purposes, we will accept any form of legal ID. Please see the ID form on our documents page or you can visit the DMV website at www.dmv.state.va.us/webdoc/citizen/id/child_id.asp. Do this as early as possible to prevent long waits at DMV. The DMV requires proof of residence and a $10.00 application fee.
- Please NOTE: FCYFL plays games primarily on Saturday’s, Sunday’s, and potentially each weeknight, Monday – Friday. Unfortunately due to limited field space allocated to member clubs and a critical shortage of officials, FCYFL doesn’t have the luxury of exempting games on the days of Redskin home games or other significant events. We live in and around the beltway of Washington and are exposed to many cultures, religions, political, sporting, and other significant events that make it impossible to schedule around to the satisfaction of everyone. In view of these circumstances, FCYFL, as well as other youth leagues can only inform their participants so each family can make the choice as to participate or not, their choice!
